Hans Isler
Chairman (Independent)

Hans Isler started his career in 1978 as a Delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Later he became an auditor with Arthur Andersen Switzerland, where he was a partner from 1994 until 2002. From 2002 until 2011, he was a partner and member of the Board of Directors of EY Switzerland. From 2013 to 2018, he was a Deputy Magistrate of the Audit Court of the canton of Geneva.

Hans Isler is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Thaler SA, he is vice-president of Leonteq AG and serves as a member of the Board of Banque Pictet & Cie SA, Pictet & Cie Group SCA, Banque du Léman SA, MKS (Switzerland) SA, and PAMP SA. He is also a member of the finance commission of MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières).

Hans Isler holds a Master’s degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG) and is a Swiss Chartered Accountant.

Michael G. Conway
Managing director

Michael is CEO and managing director of Valcourt S.A. He joined the company in 1996.

Prior to that he worked for Kadick Inc., a US broker specialising in high yield bonds.

He started his career with Arthur Andersen in London and then in Geneva.

Michael holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Geneva and is a Certified European Financial Analyst.

David Bueche
Board Member & Audit Delegate (Independent)

David Bueche holds a master’s degree in business administration from HEC Lausanne and is a Swiss Chartered Accountant. He is an independent member of several boards of directors and audit committees of companies subject to the supervision of FINMA.

He joined Arthur Andersen SA Geneva in 1986 as part of the ″audit financial markets″ division and was promoted in 1997 to the partnership in the audit division. From 2002 to end of 2018, he worked for Baker Tilly Spiess SA (member of Baker Tilly International, the 9th worldwide largest auditing network) as partner and head of the financial markets department. He looked after a wide variety of Swiss and international clients (internal audit, financial expertise, consulting, tax advice, directorship…). Since the 1st of January 2019, he is Managing Partner of DLB Consilium Sàrl, Geneva, a business consulting company.

Geoffroy Linard
Board Member (Independent)

Geoffroy Linard is an independent director.

Since 2000, he acts as board member for several portfolio management companies and investment funds. He has mandates with groups such as Edmond de Rothschild, Pictet, Generali, Dalton Strategic Partnership, Capital at Work.

During his career, he has been successively director of Banque Nagelmackers Luxembourg, member of the executive committee of Banque Edmond de Rothschild Europe, CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management Luxembourg and Director in charge of asset management of Birdee (robot advisor).

His expertise covers both the management and the administration of investment funds, risk control, compliance, trading room and operations.

He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain (1982).

Alexandre De Senarclens
Board Member (Independent)

Born in 1975. Alexandre de Senarclens obtained a law degree from the University of Fribourg in 1999, and was called to the bar in Geneva in 2001. He graduated with an LL.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2008.

After being called to the bar, Mr. de Senarclens completed his legal internship at the law firm Cabinet Mayor. He practiced at Lalive & Partners between 2003 and 2004. He worked at AH Legal between 2005 and 2010, before joining OHER & Partners in August 2010 as a partner. In 2020, OHER & Partners became Reiser Avocats.

Alexandre de Senarclens is primarily active in Banking law and financial services, White Collar crime and Company law, both in an advisory capacity and as counsel in court proceedings.

He primarily assists individuals and financial institutions in complex domestic and transnational litigation. He regularly acts in cases involving financial mismanagement, whether of a civil or criminal nature. His practice also includes assets tracing and freezing orders in Switzerland and abroad.

In addition, he advises and represents financial intermediaries, in particular independent wealth managers, in their relationships with their clients, their commercial partners, supervisory authorities, and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).

Finally, Alexandre de Senarclens is active in the field of Corporate law (contracts, partner relationships, liabilities of directors and auditors) and acts as board member for several Swiss companies.
